  • Do I save money by booking on this website?

    Absolutely and we appreciate it! By booking directly through our website you are guaranteed the lowest price available.

  • Do you have discounts for long term rentals?

    Yes! Discounts are automatically applied for stays longer than 7 and 14 nights. The longer you stay, the bigger the discount.

  • How do I check in?

    All of our properties offer the convenience of checking in directly at the property, without any need to stop by a different location. Arrival information will be emailed to you a week prior to your arrival.

  • Can you let me know about the best of Ellicottvile?

    We absolutely love Ellicottville and the surrounding area, and have compiled all our tips and favorite places to explore, dine and have fun in a comprehensive area guide which you will receive via email before you check-in to the property. If you have feedback on the guide, please let us know! In the meantime, there is a summary on our website in the "PLAY" section.

  • How much of a deposit is required to reserve a property?

    Half of the total rental amount is charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due one month prior to check-in. If the rental is made within 30 days of check-in, the full amount is due upon reservation.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    "We know life happens and sometimes you need to adjust or cancel you stay with us. That's why when booking your reservation, you have the choice between two cancellation policies - Cancellation For Any Reason Coverage or our free Basic Coverage.

    If you purchase ""Cancel For Any Reason Coverage"", you can cancel up to 7 days before check-in and receive either a full refund for use as a credit towards a future stay (excluding the cost of the coverage itself) or an 80% cash refund if picking new dates isn't an option for you. Cancellations within 7 days of check-in are not covered.

    If you don't purchase the ""Cancel For Any Reason Coverage"" you still receive our free Basic Coverage. This allows you to cancel reservations more than 90 days away and receive either a full refund for use as a credit towards a future stay or an 80% cash refund if picking new dates isn't an option for you. Any cancellations made within 90 days of check in are non-refundable and the reservation is non-transferrable."

  • Do you charge a security/damage deposit & what is the security deposit waiver fee?

    Instead of collecting a large security deposit, all reservations are charged a small, non-refundable Security Deposit Waiver Fee and receive up to $2,500 of accidental damage protection on their rental.

  • Do rates depend on my group size?

    Yes, we have occupancy-based pricing that kicks in for large groups. This modest Additional Guest Fee will be calculated at checkout and is in place to compensate for the additional upkeep and usage. Please ensure your reservation is made with the accurate number of guests and pet(s) otherwise your reservation is subject to cancellation without refund.

  • Are the properties pet friendly?

    "Most of our properties are pet friendly. You will need to include them in your reservation details as a pet fee will apply. Please note that up to 2 cats or dogs are welcome. Please inquire if you have 3 pets as this may be permitted on a case-by-case basis. We unfortunately cannot accommodate the following breeds: Pit bull/pit bull mixes, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Bull Terrier or any dog with aggressive tendencies or prior bite history."

  • What amenities are provided?

    Each property is unique. You can see a full list of the amenities by clicking on any given property on the search page. Every chalet has a full kitchen, free WiFi, baby essentials, linens, towels, and games. Some other common amenities include indoor and outdoor fireplaces (with firewood included), hot tubs, barrel saunas, pool tables, ping pong, and much more!

  • Will the hot tub be ready to use when I arrive?

    Yes! Our hot tubs are serviced and sanitized for guest’s stay by a state-certified spa technician, so relax and enjoy as soon as you arrive.

  • Is firewood provided with properties that have a wood burning fireplace or firepit?

    One of our favorite things to do at our properties is relax by the outdoor bonfire. Every Stay Après chalet has a designated bonfire area and we stock firewood to make it as easy as possible for you!

  • What is provided in the kitchen?

    Our homes come equipped with all major appliances (oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher), small appliances (blender, toaster, coffee maker) and cookware (cutlery, glassware, dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc).

  • Does the property have a washer & dryer?

    Yes, all our properties have a washer and dryer that are available for guest use.

  • Does the property have WiFi?

    Yes, all chalets have WiFi included. The network name and password are provided in your rental instructions. Most of our properties have high-speed wired internet but selected properties are more remote with less reliable WiFi. Please inquire before booking if high-speed WiFi is important for your stay.

  • Do you provide baby equipment?

    Having kids ourselves we know how helpful it can be to have baby stuff avaiable. That's why every property has a pack and play & high chair provided (hello trunk space!) If there is anything specific you require please let us know in advance and we can put you in touch with local companies that can provide and deliver the equipment.
